EK Members whose countries/football teams are participating in the 2026 World Cup.

Subject: ⚽ Super Special Event for the 2026 World Cup: Activate your country! / Super-Sonderaktion zur Fußball-WM 2026!

Dear Echo Kilo members,

For the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, we have organized a very special radio event for you! Every member whose home country is actively participating in the World Cup can activate a special World Cup event callsign.

The core rules at a glance:
The Callsign System: Each participating country operates with its own callsign according to the format [Country Prefix]EK/[FIFA Code]. (e.g., Germany: 13EK/GER, France: 14EK/FRA).

Event Duration per Country: You may operate with the special callsign as long as your national team is active in the tournament. As soon as a country is eliminated from the World Cup, the event ends immediately for that country!

Internal Coordination: Please coordinate among yourselves within your respective countries. Only one station at a time should be on the air with the World Cup event callsign (no double bookings!).

EQSL Cards: The special confirmation cards are already prepared and stored with Gregorio. You can either save them directly in the official EK-Logger and manage your full radio operations there, or upload them to your cluster box and send them from there.

🏆 Calling all „Hunters“:
There is a great competition for all stations on the bands! Chase the World Cup special event stations and work as many participating countries as possible.
The Prize: The station that logs the most or even all teams will win an exclusive, beautiful trophy! In the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn by lot.
